Trigg native nominated for Air Force Academy

A Trigg County High School graduate has been accepted to the Air Force Academy.

Congressman James Comer announced several military academy nominations Tuesday, including that of Mason Altenbaugh, who attended Trigg County High School and the Air Force Community College.

Meanwhile, Micah Center of Madisonville-North Hopkins High School received a nomination to the U.S. Naval Academy. Jackson Stratton from Hopkins County Central High School received nomination to the U.S. Military Academy, the Air Force Academy and to the Naval Academy.
