Attempted robbery investigated on McPherson

Hopkinsville Police are investigating an attempted robbery Wednesday night on South McPherson Avenue.

The victim said two suspects punched him several times and attempted to take his wallet out of his pocket during an incident that happened just before 11 p.m. near 111 South McPherson.

He sustained minor injuries and the suspects fled the scene prior to officers’ arrival.
