Wind Advisory in effect from 3 a.m. Thursday – 3 a.m. Friday

A Wind Advisory is in effect until 3 a.m. Friday for all of western Kentucky and middle Tennessee.

The National Weather Service in Paducah says sustained winds of 20 to 25 mph will be likely with gusts of up to 40 mph possible during the advisory period.

The gusty winds can knock down tree limbs and loose objects outdoors may be blown around. Drivers of high profile vehicles may experience some difficulty with the wind.

The wind is coming with another bout of rain, with a half inch to an inch of rainfall expected by the time the storm system passes Friday morning.
