A woman was flown to a Nashville hospital after she was shot Saturday morning in Oak Grove.

Police and EMS were called to 108 Meridian Way at 7:13 a.m., according to Hopkinsville Fire and EMS Captain Michael Pendleton, who says the victim was transported by ambulance to Outlaw Field in Clarksville and was flown from there by LifeFlight to Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville.

Radio traffic indicated the woman was shot in the arm.

Oak Grove Police are investigating the shooting and have not released any details.
