The Cincinnati Reds were done in by a seven-run sixth inning as the Cleveland Indians rolled to a 10-3 win to open a three-game series at Great American Ball Park. The teams play again this evening with airtime at 5:40 on News Radio 95.3 FM/1230 AM WHOP.

Elsewhere in the National League: Touki Toussaint fired six innings of one-run ball to win his big league debut as the Atlanta Braves bashed the Miami Marlins 9-1 in the opener of a day-night doubleheader at Sun Trust Park.

Ronald Acuna Jr. went 3-for-5 with a homer and two RBI as the Braves handled the Marlins 6-1 to sweep the twin bill. The teams play again this evening.

Paul DeJong nailed a walk-off, solo home run in the bottom of the ninth inning as the St. Louis Cardinals beat the Washington Nationals 7-6. Jedd Gyorko hit a solo shot in the eighth and Matt Carpenter followed with a three-run blast to put St. Louis ahead 6-4.
The Nats got two in the ninth to tie before DeJong’s blast won it for the Cards in the bottom half. The teams play again at Busch Stadium this evening.

Following an off day, the Chicago Cubs open a two game series this afternoon against Milwaukee at Wrigley Field.
