A Cadiz man is facing multiple charges in Princeton following a vehicle pursuit Wednesday that ended in a crash.
According to a news release from the Princeton Police Department, officers attempted to perform a traffic stop on a motorcycle driven by 33-year old William Renz of Cadiz. Instead of stopping, Renz allegedly accelerated and fled. He eventually lost control of the motorcycle on Old Madisonville Road in Princeton, resulting in a wreck.
He was taken to Paducah for treatment of injuries sustained in the crash. He was cited into court on charges including wanton endangerment, fleeing or evading police, reckless driving and multiple traffic violations.
