Clarksville Police are investigating a shooting incident from early Thursday morning that put the victim in a Nashville hospital.
It happened in the area of Tiny Town Road and Allen Road about 1:30 a.m. and the 20-year old male victim left the scene and went to a friend’s home in Oak Grove on his own, according to Clarksville Police.
Someone called 911 and the victim was taken to Tennova Hospital for multiple gunshot wounds and he was later transferred to Vanderbilt University Medical Center, where he was listed in stable condition.
A news release says there hasn’t been any useful information on the incident provided to police, but they do not believe the general public is in danger and they do not have any suspects.
