Coach Cal on recruiting trail

Kentucky coach John Calipari is out doing work on the recruiting trail. He was at the Nike EYBL at Peach Jam yesterday where he saw high-profile recruit Vernon Carey. Carey said he will be attending Big Blue Madness in Lexington in October.

The Lexington Herald Leader also reports Calipari made a special trip to watch Pendleton County’s Dontaie Allen Thursday. UK has been recruiting Allen, who has received an offer from SEC rival Florida and is expected to receive other offers.
