Local woman hurt in Boulevard accident

A wreck near Rally’s on Fort Campbell Boulevard Sunday afternoon injured a local woman. The Hopkinsville Police report says 30-year old Ashley Cormier of Eunice, Louisiana was leaving the Exxon gas station attempting to cross all four lanes of traffic to enter Rally’s and drove into the path of a southbound car operated by 44-year old Bertha Wimberly of Hopkinsville. Butler High’s Crumes heading to UK to play football in 2019

One of the top recruits from Kentucky in the 2019 class is heading to Kentucky. Butler High wide receiver Taetae Crumes, who had originally committed to Louisville, changed his mind Sunday and is going to play for the Wildcats. He had decided in April not to attend U of L. Crumes considered offers from Oregon, Michigan and Michigan State, among others, before choosing UK.

Agar joining U of L hoops as grad transfer

SMU forward Akoy Agau is coming back to Louisville as a graduate transfer. The Omaha, Nebraska native began his career with the Cardinals as a freshman back in 2013. He eventually transferred to Georgetown during his sophomore season in Louisville. Agau averaged five points last season with the Mustangs.
