A traffic stop at North Drive and Glass Avenue early Sunday morning led to the arrest of the driver for DUI and marijuana trafficking.
Hopkinsville Police Officer Alex Cortez stopped 19-year old Adrian Acree of Hopkinsville after seeing him driving across the center line, according to the report.
He initially did not stop when Officer Cortez activated his lights and siren and was seen tossing a baggie out of the passenger side window.
Acree eventually stopped and a search of his car allegedly revealed additional marijuana and a half-smoked marijuana cigar. He was arrested and charged with DUI, trafficking in marijuana, tampering with physical evidence and speeding.
