Lamb, Daniel to square off for coroner seat

Christian County Deputy Coroner Zach Lamb will face retired Hopkinsville firefighter Scott Daniel in November for the right to be Christian County’s next coroner.

Daniel defeated Jane McKnight of Oak Grove by about 1,200 votes and Lamb won his Democratic primary by a 3,478-2,570 tally over Melton Brooks.

Longtime coroner Dorris Lamb, Zach’s father, is retiring at the end of his term.
