Five Bowling Green residents were arrested on meth charges following an investigation early Thursday morning in Hopkinsville.

Officer Samantha Rodriguez made contact with a vehicle parked in the travel portion of Dawson Springs Road at the Bypass about 1:45 a.m. and the car was driven by 24-year old Anthony Lundy of Bowling Green.

Further investigation led to a search of the car and arrest citation says methamphetamine and glass pipes containing meth residue were located.

Lundy and his passengers, 24-year old Tanner Bowles, 23-year old Austin Pedigo, 25-year old Shelvie Payne and 19-year old Kyla Gienger—were all arrested for meth and drug paraphernalia possession. Lundy was also charged with driving with a suspended license and improper parking.
