The Storm Prediction Center has western Kentucky and most of middle Tennessee under an enhanced risk for severe weather Tuesday.
Rick Shanklin is the Warning Coordination Meteorologist for the National Weather Service in Paducah and says all types of severe weather are possible during the afternoon and early evening hours, including isolated tornadoes.
We shouldn’t be surprised that rough weather is possible, as Shanklin says this is severe weather season.
He says expect very strong winds through much of the day, even when it’s not storming.
