Talley heads to third round of ANA Inspirational today

Princeton’s Emma Talley had a one over par 73 Friday in the second round of the LPGA Tour’s first major of the season, the ANA Inspiration and stands at two under 142, which is good for a tie for 31st place. First round leader Pernilla Lindberg and Sun Hyun Park are tied for the lead at 12 under.

Motorcyclist flown to Skyline following Crofton wreck

A motorcycle wreck on Castleberry-Crofton Road Friday afternoon sent a Crofton man to Skyline Medical Center for his injuries. According to a news release from Kentucky State Police, the collision occurred around 12:15 p.m. when 41-year old Jason Barnes of Crofton was travelling north on Castleberry-Crofton Road. Christian County chooses Gibson as new boys soccer coach

Christian County High School announced former Colonel Matthew Gibson as its new boys soccer coach today. Funeral arrangements set for Officer Meacham

Hoppers announce change for home season opener

The Hoptown Hoppers announced a change in their 2018 schedule today. The Hoppers were to open the season hosting Fulton on May 31st. However, with Christian County’s Colonel Field hosting the 2nd region baseball tournament, the home opener will be June 2nd against Madisonville. The May 31st game will be played in Fulton with the June 14th game scheduled for Fulton to be played here.
