Bowling Green High named Mark Spader as its new head coach Thursday. The Hopkinsville High graduate has been the Purples defensive coordinator since 2013 and also serves as the school’s athletic director. The Bowling Green Daily News reports a search will take place for a new athletic director. Spader replaces Kevin Wallace who resigned to become the head coach at St. X in Louisville.
