Olmstead man arrested for meth trafficking

An investigation in the parking lot of Jennie Stuart Medical Center early Wednesday morning led to the arrest of an Olmstead man for methamphetamine trafficking and other charges.

Hospital security contacted Hopkinsville Police about 3:30 a.m. after a pickup circled the parking lot and stopped, but no one exited.

Officers made contact with 27-year old Justin Michael Wilson of Olmstead, who was hunkered down toward the passenger side seat.

He gave consent to search the truck and an arrest citation says officers found a one dollar bill containing a white substance, a baggie of methamphetamine, a meth pipe, a pill bottle containing three different types of narcotics and a folded receipt containing a rock of meth.

Wilson was arrested and charged with trafficking in meth, two counts of trafficking in a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia and prescription pills not in the proper container.
