One killed in Logan Co. tornado, drowning in Simpson Co.

A woman was killed Saturday afternoon when a tornado struck her home on Dot Road in southern Logan County. The tornado entered Logan County from Robertson County, Tennessee about 3:45 p.m. and destroyed the home and damaged other buildings and vehicles on the property. Logan County Sheriff’s Sgt. Elkton woman hurt after car slides off road

A woman was hurt in a single-vehicle accident in Todd County Friday due to winter weather conditions making roads hazardous. Elkton Police Sgt. Sharon Grove man hurt in weather related accident

A Todd County man was injured in a weather-related accident on Greenville Road about three miles north of Elkton. Todd County Sheriff's Sgt. Patrick Turner says 51-year old Michael Sweeney of Sharon Grove was southbound at Allendars Hill when he failed to negotiate a curve and his work truck went off the road and overturned in a creek.
