Pennyrile Counties see lower unemployment in December 2025

Trigg County receives state funding to replace bridge on Tanyard Road

Trigg County was announced as one of the recipients of funds from the County and City Bridge Improvement Program to replace the North Tanyard Road Bridge. Cadiz wreck results in two deaths

A wreck near the intersection of U.S. Highway 68 and the Interstate 24 westbound off ramp in Cadiz resulted in two deaths on Sunday. According to the Trigg County Coroner’s Office, the two people killed in the wreck were identified as 54-year-old Kreg Bernell Redd of West Frankfort, Illinois and 67-year-old David J McCabe of Carbondale Illinois. Both were pronounced deceased at the scene. The wreck is still being investigated.
