This $500 one-time award supports Christian County students pursuing college or technical education by helping with textbook and school expenses. Applications are open through June 1. The Christian County Literacy Council crowned a new group of kiddos for their spelling skills at Tuesday’s fifth annual spelling bee. The Christian County Literacy Council and Atmos Energy cut the ribbon on the Literacy Launcher Book Vending Machine at the Hopkinsville-Christian County Convention and Visitors Bureau on Thursday.
