Elsewhere in the National League: The St. Louis Cardinals hammered the Milwaukee Brewers 12-2 Monday to up their NL Central lead on the Chicago Cubs to three games. St. Louis meets Milwaukee again tonight while the Cubs open a series with the New York Mets.
The Atlanta Braves lost a 3-1 makeup game at the Colorado Rockies Monday. The Braves open an Interleague series tonight at Toronto.
