Following two weather delays, the Girls 2nd region tournament was finally contested Friday at Ben Hawes State Park. Daviess County was the top team at 364, with Madisonville second at 368. Both teams will advance to next week’s KHSAA State Tournament in Bowling Green.
Christian County was led by Hannah Sumner’s 90, Rhegan Lindsey led University Heights with 96 and Anna Blane had 104 in leading Hopkinsville.
