The Christian County Literacy Council is now accepting applications for the Beverly Whitfield Memorial Textbook Scholarship.
This $500 one-time award supports Christian County students pursuing college or technical education by helping with textbook and school expenses.
Applications are open through June 1. Eligible applicants must live in or attend school in Christian County and be accepted for full-time enrollment in a post-secondary or technical program. Previous winners may reapply after one year.
To apply, students can go to the Christian County Literacy Council Facebook page and click a link to the scholarship’s online form. Students must submit a completed application, an essay and either an unofficial transcript or acceptance letter. Late or incomplete applications will not be considered.
