University Heights Academy’s girls’ and boys’ track teams took home seven first-place medals Friday in the Green County Invitational.
Leading the way for the Lady Blazers was Ajae Oatts, who took first place in both the 100- and 200-meter dash. She also was second in the 400-meter dash.
Emma Dill won the 100- and 300-meter hurdles and also took fifth in the 100-meter dash. Cassie Keller also had an impressive day, taking third in the triple jump and fourth in the long jump. She also was seventh in the 200-meter dash.
Audrey Lovell took 10th in the discus and the shot put events.
For the Blazers, Jude Finch took first place in the 3,200-meter run and Graham Conrad won the 1,600-meter run while taking fourth in the 800-meter run. Zech Davis was fifth in the 800.
The Blazers’ 4×800-meter relay team also took gold and the 400-meter relay team earned a silver medal.
Ronan Croney-Sallie finished third in the triple jump and fourth in the 300-meter hurdles while teammate Garret Bowling was fifth in the 300-meter hurdles and Jackson Estes earned a fourth-place finish in the long jump.
Estes also earned an 8th-place finish in the 200-meter dash and ninth in the 100-meter dash. Jack Conrad took 10th in the long jump.
