Fort Campbell got off to a quick start and held off visiting Heritage Christian Academy 66-54 Tuesday night in a boys’ high school basketball game.
The Falcons jumped out to a 17-6 first-quarter lead and never looked back.
Austin Brown had 14 points and eight rebounds and Cameron Oesch added 12 points and 22 rebounds to lead the Warriors, who slipped to 3-22 on the season. Noah Arvin added 12 points and six rebounds.
HCA is scheduled to play host to Dawson Springs on Friday night in a girls/boys doubleheader beginning at 5:30 p.m.
Fort Campbell improved to 8-13 on the season and play at Christian County tonight in a girls/boys doubleheader with the boys’ game beginning around 7:30 p.m.
