Sharp plays well in Mavericks’ summer league opener

Former Hopkinsville High School star Jamarion Sharp scored five points, grabbed six rebounds, and blocked two shots in the Dallas Mavericks’ 87-85 summer league win over the Los Angeles Lakers Thursday in Las Vegas.

Sharp hit 2 of 3 shots from the field and one of two from the free throw line in the win.

The Mavs will play the San Antonio Spurs on Saturday.
