Attorneys discuss newly found co-defendant in murder case

Tyron Holt of Hopkinsville appeared in Christian County Circuit Court on Wednesday for a pretrial conference concerning the Holt’s co-defendant.

Holt was charged with complicity to murder in the death of 18-year-old Gailon Toler in May 2022. Recently 20-year-old Omega Plaisime of Clarksville was arrested in connection to the shooting death.

Plaisime is accused of accused of shooting Toler or acting as an accomplice to the shooting that ended in Tolier’s death.

At the pretrial hearing, Holt’s defense attorney, Jarrod Jackson says the locating of Plaisime is beneficial for the defense.

However, with the rise of new information Christian County Commonwealth’s Attorney Stephanie Bolen, requested another conference in a week to allow for both the prosecution and the defense to gather information and await the indictment of Plaisime.

Holt is set to reappear in Christian County Circuit Court on August 9.
