Rotary Auction continues Tuesday night after good start

After getting off to a good start on the first evening, the 71st WHOP Rotary Radio Auction continues Tuesday evening.

Eighty-eight items sold Monday night for $6,526, the diner and sweet shop brought in $1,410 and Hour and Goat Club donations to this point have totaled just over $58,000 for an overall total after one night of $66,111—almost $16,000 ahead of last year’s very different virtual auction.

Auction Chair Cody Noffsinger says they’re appreciative to all of the businesses and friends of Rotary who’ve donated items to the auction and they could still use more items.

You can find the Big Board items posted in a link on the Hopkinsville Rotary Club website, where you can also bid online.

The diner opened Monday night, lunch starts Tuesday at the Memorial Building and Noffsinger says you can eat on site or take a plate with you.

The auction goes from 7 until 10 through Thursday, from 6 until 10 Friday and from 6 until all items are sold Saturday. It can all be heard on Lite Rock 98.7 or online at lite987whop.com and it can be watched on Spectrum Channel 376 or on the Rotary Club of Hopkinsville website.
