Hopkinsville CFO receives League of Cities award

The City of Hopkinsville is congratulating Chief Financial Officer Robert Martin for receiving a Master of City Governance designation by the Kentucky League of Cities.

According to a news release, Martin was among 27 city officials from across the state who the league recognized for completely a level three level of training. The City Officials Training Center is a voluntary education program administered by the Kentucky League of Cities where city officials can complete education levels by attending KLC events and by submitting outside educational credit from other municipal training.

The Level III – Master of City Governance award requires the city official to attend 90 hours of approved training with three hours of ethics training.
