Motorcyclist killed in Clarksville accident

A motorcyclist was killed in an accident Sunday night on Wilma Rudolph Boulevard in Clarksville.

Police say a 48-year old woman was southbound on Wilma Rudolph and attempted to turn left onto South Hampton Place. She drove into the path of a motorcycle operated by a 22-year old male and a collision ensued.

The motorcyclist, whose name has not been released, was pronounced dead at Tennova Health Hospital.

The investigation into the crash continues and no charges have been filed against the woman.
