Events associated with the Big Read continue this week and Supper in the Cemetery is coming up Friday afternoon.
It will go from 5 until 7:30 at Riverside Cemetery and Alissa Keller with the Museums of Historic Hopkinsville-Christian County says you must purchase tickets in advance through the museum website or Big Read Hopkinsville Facebook page.
Many locals have attended a supper in the cemetery before, but Keller says Wayne Goolsby has altered this one with themes from this year’s Big Read play—Our Town, by Thornton Wilder.
Tickets are $15 for museum members and $20 for the general public.
On Saturday morning at 9:30 at the Hopkinsville-Christian County Public Library, there will be a dialogue writing workshop led by Elizabeth Burton.
