The City of Hopkinsville and Mayor J.R. Knight are inviting Christian County residents to apply for the 2026 Diplomat Program, which is returning for it’s eighth year.
According to a news release, the City Diplomat Program offers participants an in-depth look in the how the City operates through a series of interactive sessions. Participants will be able to engage directly with city departments and learn how services are delivered and performed, while gaining an understanding of the decision that shape this community.
Sessions will be at 6 p.m. at the Hopkinsville Municipal Building on April 2, May 6, June 4, July 2 and September 3.
Any county residents over the age of 18 can apply to take part—applications must be turned in by 4:30 p.m. Friday, March 13.
