Fatality shuts down 41-A in Clarksville

An investigation is underway in Clarksville, following a fatal vehicle versus semi-truck collision on 41-A Thursday morning.

According to a news release, it happened at just before 9 a.m. on Ashland City Road near Queens Bluff Way and completely shut down the roadway. The crash involved a passenger vehicle and a tractor-trailer and resulted in a fatality, but additional information was not immediately available.

The Fatal Accident Crash Team responded to the scene, and the roadway was expected to be closed for an extended time.
