Federal jury indicts Fort Campbell soldier for child exploitation

A federal grand jury in Paducah recently indicted 23-year-old Cameron Lawrence, a Fort Campbell soldier, on child exploitation offenses on Friday.

Lawrence was indicted on two counts of attempted enticement of a minor and two counts of sexual exploitation of children. Lawrence made his first court appearance on June 3 and was ordered to be detained pending trial.

Lawrence faces a minimum sentence of 15 years and a maximum sentence of life in prison if he is found guilty. There is no parole in the federal prison system.
