CCPS announces continued bus route cancellations  

Christian County Public Schools are set to operate on normal hours for Friday, April 11, but because of ongoing flooding some bus routes remain canceled or rerouted.

Flooding continues to impact the southern portions of Christian County which mostly affects students attending South Christian Elementary School, Pembroke Elementary School, Hopkinsville Middle School and Hopkinsville High School, according to the school system.

Bus routes in the Pembroke area will be rerouted to avoid flooded roadways.  

Parents of students who are unable to attend school due to bus route cancellations or have been impacted by flooding are encouraged to contact their child’s principal.

The canceled bus routes include:

• Bus 196, Tracie Salters
• Bus 201, Tammy Brumley
• Bus 211, Tim Beal
• Bus 212, Amber Belanger
• Bus 216, Toni Majors
• Bus 135(sub bus 551) Ronnie Rougemont
