Two-vehicle wreck on MLK Jr. Way results in injuries

Hopkinsville Police responded to a two-vehicle wreck on Martin Luther King Jr. Way that resulted in injuries on Friday night.

According to a report, Jerry Price of Madisonville attempted to turn left onto the Pennyrile Parkway from MLK Way. As he was turning, Price reportedly struck a car operated by Gregory Rhoads of Hopkinsville as he was driving the opposite way down MLK Way.

Price reportedly told first responders that he attempted to stop before the impact, but his brakes failed which was verified by officers. Rhoads was transported to Jennie Stuart Medical Center for a few minor injuries.
