Grand jury returns indictments for kidnapping, assault

A Christian County Grand Jury has returned numerous indictments, including for kidnapping and assault. 

Indicted for two counts of kidnapping, second-degree strangulation, first-degree criminal mischief, fourth-degree assault and violation of a Kentucky EPO/DVO is 25-year-old Jacob Pruitt of Hopkinsville.  He is accused of unlawfully restraining two minors in February with the intent to deprive the parent or guardian of custody, and wrapping his hands around the throat of a victim during that incident.

Indicted for second-degree assault, kidnapping and first-degree robbery is 23-year-old Zyair Clack of Hopkinsville, who allegedly wantonly caused physical injury to a victim in October of 2023, and also held that victim against their will while armed with a deadly weapon with the intent to commit a robbery. 

The grand jury indicted 33-year-old Alexius Lee of Hopkinsville with second-degree wanton endangerment, trafficking in methamphetamine second offense, possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia is connection to an incident in January. 

Twenty-two-year-old Fredrick Reeves II was indicted for third-degree burglary and first-degree fleeing or evading police in relation to a foot pursuit in December of 2023.
