Jaquavion Spencer, Zamarius Humphries and Deovion Day who were arrested in connection to the 2021 Princess Theater shooting appeared in Christian Circuit Court on Wednesday where their trial date was set.
The men appeared together and Defense Attorney Sands Chewning who represents Humphries and Spencer shared that after discussing with Commonwealth’s Attorney Maureen Leamy and Day’s Defense Attorney Daniel Whitley, they have scheduled the trial for June 10 through June 14.
When asked by Circuit Court Judge Andrew Self, Leamy says she is still working on sentencing offers for the defendants and possible mediation, but if she and the defense are not able to come to an agreement the case will go to trial.
Spencer, Humphries and Day will reappear in court on May 15 for their final pretrial conference.
