Three injured, charged in Todd County shooting

Three Todd County residents are facing charges following a shooting incident in Allege near Pilot Rock Road on Sunday. 

According to Kentucky State Police, preliminary investigation into the incident that happened around 2:45 p.m. on an easement, where 75-year-old Charles Segers of Elkton, 51-year-old Christopher Segers of Elkton and 18-year-old Clayton Segers of Sharon Grove, were allegedly involved in a physical altercation with another subject over a property dispute.

During that altercation, a firearm was discharged, striking all three men. Charles Segers was transported to Jennie Stuart Medical Center for non-life-threatening injuries, Christopher Segers was flown to Vanderbilt University Medical Center, where he has since been released with non-life-threatening injuries, and Clayton Segers was flown to Skyline Medical Center, where he has since been released with non-life-threatening injuries. 

All three Segers were arrested and charged with first-degree wanton endangerment, fourth-degree assault and trespassing.
