>>Bengals Add Cornerback

(Cincinnati, OH)  — The Bengals are poaching a player from the Super Bowl champions.  The team claimed Chris Lammons on waivers from the Chiefs yesterday.  The cornerback played 30 games for Kansas City since 2020 and originally signed with the Falcons as an undrafted free agent back in 2018.  The University of South Carolina product has 18 career tackles to go with one interception.  Free agency begins next month.

>>Report: Jets Hire Former Titans OC

(Nashville, TN)  — The Jets are hiring a former Titans coach.  According to NFL Network, New York announced former Tennessee Titans offensive coordinator Todd Downing will join the team as a passing-game coordinator.  Downing, who was fired after the season, has ties to two quarterbacks who might be potential offseason targets for the Jets: the Titans’ Ryan Tannehill and the Las Vegas Raiders’ Derek Carr.  Downing was the Raiders’ quarterbacks coach in 2015 and 2016 and their coordinator in 2017.  Head coach Robert Saleh is still looking for a wide receivers coach to complete his staff.
