>>Pratt Comments On Ossai Hit

(Cincinnati, OH)  — A defensive player on the Bengals is commenting on his reaction to Joseph Ossai’s late hit on Patrick Mahomes.  Germaine Pratt was seen yelling after the game, “why would you touch the quarterback?”  The linebacker spoke to the media yesterday and said he was “in the moment” and wasn’t a great teammate.  Pratt went on to say that moment doesn’t define him as a man.  The penalty allowed the Chiefs to move up 15 yards and kick the game-winning, 45-yard field goal with three seconds left.  Ossai commented on the play and said, “I gotta learn from experience.  I gotta do better.”  The Chiefs and Eagles kick off from Glendale for Super Bowl 57 on February 12th.

>>Cincinnati Mayor Responds To Travis Kelce Dig

(Cincinnati, OH)  — The mayor of Cincinnati is admitting he deserved some shade that was thrown at him by Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce.  After the Chiefs beat the Bengals to advance to the Super Bowl, Kelce addressed Aftab Pureval and said “know your role and shut your mouth, ya jabroni.”  That’s after the mayor said officials asked Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow to take a paternity test to see if he was the father of Chiefs QB Patrick Mahomes.  The mayor responded to Kelce’s dig on Twitter and said “yeah. [ I ] deserved that.”  He then congratulated the Chiefs and wished them good luck in the Super Bowl.

>>NFL Salary Cap Reaches New Record

(Nashville, TN)  — The Titans will have more money to spend ahead of next season.  That’s because the NFL salary cap is increasing to a new record of 224-point-eight million dollars.  That’s a more than 16-million-dollar bump from this season.  Tennessee will have just under 23-and-a-half-million-dollars in cap space heading into the offseason.  However, the team can make several cuts before June 1st to nearly double that total.
