Reds & Braves win, Cardinals & Cubs lose Sunday

The Cincinnati Reds have their first series win of the season after scoring five runs in the bottom of the sixth inning to take down the Pittsburgh Pirates 7-3 at Great American Ball Park. Colin Moran had two home runs and six RBI in the victory. The Reds open a series with the Milwaukee Brewers tonight with the next Reds on Radio broadcast Wednesday morning at 11:05 on News Radio 95.3 FM/1230 AM WHOP.

Elsewhere in the National League: The St. Louis Cardinals are settling for a four-game split in San Francisco after dropping the finale 4-3 to the Giants, losing the final two in the series. The Cardinals open up a three-game home series with the Baltimore Orioles tomorrow.

The Atlanta Braves cruised to a 9-2 win over the Milwaukee Brewers Sunday. Adam Duvall and William Contreras homered in the win. Atlanta welcomes the Boston Red Sox tomorrow night.

Walker Buehler threw seven innings of one-run ball as the Los Angeles Dodgers crushed the Chicago Cubs 7-1. The Cubs begin a six game West Coast swing tonight in San Diego.
