Comer calls for America to stop importing oil from Russia

Western Kentucky Congressman James Comer is calling on the Biden administration to cease American purchase of Russian oil as the Russian invasion of Ukraine continues.

Speaking on the U.S. House Floor, Comer said it’s time for further economic action against Russia.

He says the United States can lead by cutting off oil purchases from Russia.

The United States gets approximately 8 percent of its oil imports from Russia.
