The Graves County Sheriff’s Office says the Knoxville, Tennessee man was working on a utility pole shortly after 9 a.m. when he fell off the pole and the pole then fell on him.
His leg was broken in multiple places and he was flown by helicopter to a hospital in Nashville for treatment.
Meanwhile in some good news, the Jeffersontown Police Department learned of the Dawson Springs Police Department losing a cruiser to the tornado and the Jeffersontown chief and mayor arrived in Dawson Springs Sunday to donate one of their cruisers to bring the fleet back to full force.
