With no plea deal in place, a trial date was set Wednesday morning in Christian Circuit Court for 23-year old Adrian Murray, the man who allegedly shot Keosha Willis on Meridians Way in Oak Grove in 2018.
Assistant Commonwealth’s Attorney Stephanie Bolen told Judge John Atkins she expects trial to last a couple days and the judge scheduled it to begin the last day of May.
Murray is charged with first-degree assault in the incident and he and defense attorney Michael Thompson decided to decline a plea agreement that was recently proposed by the commonwealth.
