Boys: Todd Central upset South Warren 67-56 in overtime, Trigg County bounced Logan County 52-30, Webster County routed Dawson Springs 86-53, Hickman County over Livingston Central 78-47 and McCracken County routed Community Christian 93-44. Girls: Trigg County defeated Todd Central 51-45 in overtime, Whitesville Trinity over Caldwell County 69-53 Edmonson County topped Warren East 49-39 and McCracken County crushed Community Christian 84-9.

Oscar Tshiebwe had 20 points and 16 rebounds, TyTy Washington Jr. added 15 points and 9th ranked Kentucky quickly overwhelmed Central Michigan for a 85-57 victory. The Wildcats jumped out to a 25-5 lead in the first half and never looked back. Murray State blasted Campbellsville University 98-61 at the CFSB Center. Four Racers reached double-figure scoring led by Tevin Brown with 20, while DJ Burns scored a MSU career-high 20 points. Justice Hill scored 15 points and dished out eight assists and Trae Hannibal posted 10 points with five assists. Murray State is now 6-1 and hosts Middle Tennessee Saturday night.
Austin Peay fell at TCU 68-51. The Governors were led in scoring by Caleb Stone-Carrawell with 14 points. Austin Peay is 3-3 on the season and is back in action Sunday afternoon hosting Milligan University.
Myles Stute buried six three pointers as Vanderbilt thrashed Mississippi Valley State 75-36. The Commodores are now 5-1 on the season and and visit SMU on Saturday.
There were seven more COVID-19 deaths reported in the last week in Hopkins County. The Hopkins County Health Department says 216 residents there have died from the virus since the pandemic began and there were also 94 new cases in the last week. Hopkins County has reported 8,810 cases since the beginning of the pandemic.
