9th ranked Kentucky crushes Central Michigan

Oscar Tshiebwe had 20 points and 16 rebounds, TyTy Washington Jr. added 15 points and 9th ranked Kentucky quickly overwhelmed Central Michigan for a 85-57 victory. The Wildcats jumped out to a 25-5 lead in the first half and never looked back. Racers get huge win over Campbellsville

Murray State blasted Campbellsville University 98-61 at the CFSB Center. Four Racers reached double-figure scoring led by Tevin Brown with 20, while DJ Burns scored a MSU career-high 20 points. Justice Hill scored 15 points and dished out eight assists and Trae Hannibal posted 10 points with five assists. Murray State is now 6-1 and hosts Middle Tennessee Saturday night.

Hopkins County reports seven more COVID deaths

There were seven more COVID-19 deaths reported in the last week in Hopkins County. The Hopkins County Health Department says 216 residents there have died from the virus since the pandemic began and there were also 94 new cases in the last week. Hopkins County has reported 8,810 cases since the beginning of the pandemic.
