CCHD reports 83 COVID-19 cases

The Christian County Health Department reported 83 new COVID-19 cases locally in the last week.

That’s according to an update on Wednesday, which states those cases bumps the overall total up to 10,979—of that, 188 cases are considered active and 10,655 people have recovered from the virus.  Christian County has had 136 COVID deaths.

In total, including booster shots, third doses and children between the ages of five and 11 years old, the health department has administered 32,893 COVID-19 vaccines.
