COVID positivity rate still dropping as Gov reports 1,786 new cases

Kentucky’s COVID positivity rate continues to drop as Governor Andy Beshear reported 1,786 new cases Tuesday.

The positivity rate dropped to 7.17 percent, but the governor also reported 29 more deaths, bringing Kentucky’s death toll to 9,425.

There are 1,202 Kentuckians hospitalized with the virus, 355 in an ICU and 226 on a ventilator.
