Pedestrian struck by vehicle in Madisonville

A pedestrian was hurt in an accident Wednesday in Madisonville. It happened about 11:30 a.m., with Madisonville police saying 66-year old Marvin Hightower of Madisonville was turning right at the intersection of West Center and South Main Street and hit 70-year old Daniell Williamson, who was walking across Main. Two injured in Calloway County head-on collision

Two people were injured in a head-on collision Wednesday in Calloway County. Kentucky State Police say 39-year old Eric Conger of Murray was eastbound on KY 94 when he crossed the center line and collided with a westbound automobile operated by 43-year old Douglas Rogers of Murray. Montgomery County pursuit ends in Christian County with arrest

A pursuit of a vehicle that began in Tennessee crossed the state line twice before coming to an end with an arrest early Thursday morning in Christian County. Christian County Sheriff’s Sgt. The University of Kentucky began workouts yesterday ahead of the upcoming season. The Wildcats will play the Blue-White game on October 22nd and the first preseason game against Kentucky Wesleyan October 29th at Rupp Arena. Murray State also began preseason workouts on Wednesday. The Racers host Brescia in exhibition action on November 1st.

Elkton man flown to Vanderbilt hospital after Wednesday crash

An Elkton man was flown to a Nashville hospital following an accident Wednesday morning on the Russellville Bypass.
