A pedestrian was hurt in an accident Wednesday in Madisonville.
It happened about 11:30 a.m., with Madisonville police saying 66-year old Marvin Hightower of Madisonville was turning right at the intersection of West Center and South Main Street and hit 70-year old Daniell Williamson, who was walking across Main.
Williamson was taken by EMS to Baptist Health Hospital for treatment of his injuries.
A witness told police Williamson had a green “walk” light and that Hightower failed to yield the right of way.
