SEC mulling Covid-19 rules for forefiture of games

The Athletic reported Monday the Southeastern Conference is discussing potential financial penalties for teams who can’t play games this season due to Covid-19. The SEC has no official COVID-19 game cancellation policy in place yet, despite early indications that it would force forfeitures if a team was unable to play.
